Austrian Airlines will refurbish the business and economy class cabins in all long-haul aircraft - six Boeing 767s and four Boeing 777s - by the end of April 2013. The new business class experience will be available on Austrian's flights to Dubai from 19 January 2013 onwards.
The new Austrian Airlines business class features two-meter-long full flat bed, new inflight entertainment system with video on demand and exclusive DO&CO gourmet menus.
The Austrian business class seat offers plenty of storage space and leg room. The seat can be set to three different positions and will eventually unfold into a two-meter-long full flat bed in the sleeping setting. The seat is further fitted with an air cushion system, USB port, laptop port, laptop pocket, reading lamp, glasses pocket and shoe pocket.
The new on-board entertainment system offers more than 100 hours of entertainment programming which you can combine, start and stop as you wish. The latest blockbusters, entertaining TV series and fascinating documentaries are available in high-resolution digital quality.
The economy class cabin will be also refurbished with new seats and inflight entertainment system. The cabin interior and the lavatories are getting a much needed face lift as well.
