From 1 January 2013, the Emirates will upgrade its second daily flight from Dubai to Glasgow Airport in Scotland by introducing a 364 seat Boeing 777 aircraft on the route.
At the moment, the Emirates' second daily flight from Dubai to Glasgow is operated with an Airbus A340-300. The A340 will be replaced with a Boeing 777-300ER. As a result, the weekly number of seats available on the route Dubai - Glasgow - Dubai will increase by more than 650. An extra 70 tonnes of cargo capacity will be also available in both directions every week.
The addition of a second Boeing 777-300ER will result in a consistent product across the two daily Emirates flights from Dubai to Glasgow. Three classes of service - First, Business and Economy - will be offered on both flights. The Emirates first class cabin on the Boeing 777 aircraft is equipped flat-bed seats.
