First things first... clearing UAE immigration at Dubai Airport.
Quite a few flights arrive in Dubai around midnight. I had to spend more than an hour in the line before the passport control. The UAE immigration officers are wearing the traditional white dishdasha (or kandoura) with a white headdress, known as a ghuttra. Mine immigration officer happened to be a woman.
Finally, I got a stamp in my passport!
